Routine:
Total time: 60-min
Treadmill Intervals--45-min
5-min warm-up, 30-sec on @8mph, 10% grade, catch breath 80%, repeat.
Backwards Incline Treadmill Walking--15-min
Notes:
- Progress: I pushed hard here. Added another 15 minutes of intervals. Next step--increase the speed and do 30-35 minutes again.
- Tough: I am suffering now, so that my future endeavors are easier. I can do this.
- Pleasure & pain: As much as this is tough, I enjoy doing this. I love wringing the sweat out of my shirt when I'm done. Is that important? Not really. But I love the process, too.
- Time flies: Wow! I'm on week six. I don't feel burnt out. I am determined to get better. Totally determined to keep going, keep pushing hard, and reach new levels of fitness both physically and mentally.
